This plain but handsome kitchen table is made of colonial teak. It has two drawers.

The kitchen and kitchen table was a centre of gossip and intrigue, as well as a place of work, used for preparing food but it was regularly cleared for the staff to have their meals. Now adays it is more a place of relaxation.
